Formed in 2005, Shape Properties Corp. brings together a young and dynamic group of individuals with significant real estate experience and a track record of proven success. The unique combination of experience brought together by the members of Shape make it ideally qualified to capitalize on emerging opportunities for real estate investment and development.

Shape's current focus is on retail and mixed use properties with a retail component within markets with high tenant demand and a limited supply of potential future competitive development sites. With a focused, proactive acquisitions approach and strong tenant relationships Shape is able to identify and secure new profitable investment and development opportunities in target markets.

The past experience of Shape's members and its close relationship with key financial partners and strong tenant relationships allow Shape to quickly respond to new opportunities in an agile, flexible and creative manner.

ACQUISTIONS

Shape has acquired eight projects to date with a total build out of 2,000,000 square feet on 170 Acres. The properties include the following:

• Four existing shopping centers under redevelopment (750,000 square feet); and

• Four sites under development (1,250,000 square feet).

Shape is actively looking to acquire property in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest of the United States. Shape’s execution team has a proven track record to execute acquisitions on existing shopping centres as well as mixed use and retail land development opportunities.

Existing Shopping Centres – Shape is interested in purchasing well located existing shopping centres that have the potential to be repositioned and/or redeveloped over time. Currently, Shape is looking at all existing retail projects in excess of 3 acres in urban markets, and in excess of 7 acres in suburban and secondary markets.

Retail Land Development – Shape’s attention is focused on purchasing retail and mixed use land with a large retail component. The Shape team has extensive experience with the entitlement process and as such will purchase both entitled and un-entitled land. Shape is presently looking at land opportunities in excess of 10 Acres.
